Well, it has been a while since I put anything up here, but I will offer up a brief summary of our life in the last month: Jeff was gone for some more training, and is now a Field Training Officer (A P3 in LA terms), and will get to train new officers as they come. He also got to go to Las Vegas with his buddies and see his family as well! Charlie got sick after her birthday with a nasty cold, which became croup, which she then passed to Abby, who also developed croup, and then Jeff and I got it also, so we just didn't leave the house for most of February. Then, the night before Jeff left for Vegas, I broke my toe tripping over Charlie, and in an unrelated turn of events, she got croup again, so I spent my bachelorette weekend wearing bedroom slippers to Target to buy more Vicks Vapo-rub, and I learned that honey is an excellent and toddler-friendly cough medicine. Abigail is very nearly walking, and she teases us all the time by letting go of things and standing all by herself, and then very slowly sitting down so she doesn't fall. She can say Daddy, and Hi, and Charlie (she pronounces it Taw-Yi), and just today she said Mama, finally! She loves to point, and wave, and flirt with strangers in the grocery store, and eat clods of dirt off of the carpet. She keeps Charlie busy by touching everything in the house, so that Charlie is forced to shout to me, "Abby can't eat my shoes!" and "Abby can't touch Daddy's XBOX!" and "Abby can't eat the dirt!" She takes very good care of her sister! They are great friends, and I have to be the luckiest mom in the world for them to play so well together. Now when we are in the car, they occupy each other by blowing raspberries and giggling at each other, or holding hands across the backseat, or fake sneezing at each other. Hey, whatever tickles your funny bone, right? Now for me: I have been busy making blankets and painting pictures for all the babies my friends keep having. I have been subbing every few weeks, and that extra money is nice! I have been researching housing for us, as our lease at this apartment is up for renewal in June, and I would love to move somewhere with a playground, pool, and possibly more space. That last part is negotiable if I can find a really good playground! So anyway, life keeps marching on. Our prayer needs: Girls need to sleep through the night! Jeff's work wants to cut employees- they are not looking to cut him, but we don't want them to cut anyone! And I need wisdom in the house search- God's timing is perfect, and if he wants us to stay here another year, I need to be open to that. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers, as we keep you in ours. Lots of love! -Jennica

First I would like to point out that Reese STILL calls me dada if he bothers to call me anything at all, so I think Abby is on the fast track! HA ha! If you are looking at apartments check out the ones on the corner of fairgrounds and Waaga way. I know they have a decent pool and 3 bedrooms.
