The Girls' Room
After a great deal of crafting and sewing, to the point where Jeff doesn't even ask when I am putting the sewing machine away because it is now such a permanent fixture on our dining room table, Charlie and Abby's new room is complete. I am still making a baby blanket for the crib and a pillow sham for Charlie that matches, but you will be able to get the idea from the pictures. Charlie has her new twin bed and bookshelves on her side, and Abby (who will still be sleeping in our room until July at least) has the crib and changing table on hers. Those of you who have seen this room in person will be impressed and/or shocked that I was able to fit all of this furniture in there, but without the glider (now taking up a great quantity of space in the living room), it was possible. Grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles will also now see why I requested tiny Christmas gifts. (The last picture is the before shot).
